CIS accreditation awarded to the International School of the Hague

The Council of International Schools is the largest association worldwide of and for these types of schools with more than 620 members. 260 of them have followed their accreditation process, a quality audit based on a self study and the work of a visiting team. For ISH this was two years of work in committees and the visit by ten experts and fellow professionals last November.
The Board of CIS granted this status following the team report and their recommendation. Of course, like all quality processes, this is the start of a review cycle, beginning with an one-year report, followed by a five year re-visit by a smaller team and a full self study again in the ninth year, to lead into re-accreditation in 2020. ISH staff may be justly proud of this achievement.
