Introduction
With a staff of around 600, ‘Rijnlands’ provides education to 5000 students in the Netherlands and 525 abroad. This makes it a medium-sized educational organisation in the Leiden and Haaglanden area.
For many years the foundation has united three comprehensive schools in Wassenaar, Oegstgeest and Sassenheim, providing a wide range of educational programmes from junior general secondary education to (pre-university) grammar school.
Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest International School and the International School of The Hague also offer international secondary education. The school in The Hague provides primary education too. On 1 August 2011 the Eerste Nederlandse Montessori School, a regular Dutch primary school, joined the Rijnlands foundation. On 1 August 2012 the European School of The Hague Rijnlands Lyceum will open its doors.
Rijnlands Education Worldwide provides education in Dutch at locations in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
